| Overview : |
We are seeking a Street Lighting Engineer to work within a busy office for a large and reputable company.
|
| Main Duties: |
Carrying out the design of new and replacement residential and area street lighting schemes to BS5489:2007
Inspection and supervision of road lighting and signing works
Design and approval of Private Developers works under Section's 38, 106 & 278 schemes
Design of highway lighting schemes to BS5489:2007 in conjunction with Internal Departments and External bodies
Advising and enforcing the street lighting policy
Production of Contractual Documentation

| Key Skills: |
Essential Criteria:
· Incorporated Electrical Engineer or Member of the Institution of Lighting Engineers
· Driving Licence
· Knowledge of relevant legislation including Health & Safety
· Some relevant experience
· Computer literacy in: MS Office; an inventory system and design software
