My is a large civil engineering structures team that have a number of opportunities due to increasing workload for Principal Engineers with a desire to work on exciting infrastructure projects.
The positions will be one of responsibility for leading design teams and mentoring and developing junior design staff.

| Main Duties: |
Responsibilities:
•Providing leadership to design teams
•Mentoring and development of junior technical staff
•Ensuring design work is undertaken in accordance with quality procedures and CDM legislation
•Managing programme and budgets of design work
•Managing internal and external communications
•Managing project risk
•Interest in continuous improvement.

| Key Skills: |
Principal Civil Structural Engineer
•Civil engineering related degree, BEng level minimum, or equivalent
•Chartered (ICE or IStructE)
•Good technical experience in bridge design and/or the design of heavy civil structures such as station boxes and cut and cover tunnels.
•Good working knowledge of CDM requirements.
